We renovated the East Kitchen at the Dallas Convention Center for Centerplate around restricted hours and days when no noise was permitted because events were running. We remodeled the Roche Bobois showroom in Houston while it traded at normal capacity. Much of the work we do for Snuffer's happens at 2:00 in the morning after the restaurants close.​

Pat Snuffer, I'm President of Snuffer's Restaurants Inc. Our relationship with Steve Smith and the boys over at DENCO goes back several years. They've helped us at various times, in many ways. They've built four of our restaurants. As a matter of fact, they even helped us with our house remodel, quite an extensive house remodel. We go back about eight years.

Our relationship with Steve and his guys just means so much to us. We can call, and we still do call DENCO for remodels, for refits on existing units, and they're right on top of it. They'll be out there many times that day, if not within the hour. And we can trust them. There's no bidding involved. I know that they're going to come at us with the best price possible and get it done as quickly as possible, whether it be repouring a concrete slab or fixing a series of booths that have broken.

There's so many different things that they are able to do that we feel extremely comfortable with them, and we wouldn't think of going anywhere else. I've seen other general contractors at work and they pale in comparison. They'll find the plumber, they'll find the stainless steel guy, they'll find anybody they need to get the job done, and they do it quick. If our awnings get ripped, they'll have somebody out there that day. If the sign loses all of its neon capability, they'll have somebody out there that day.

They have the resources, they have the phone numbers, they have the people that they trust. And once DENCO says that they trust somebody, then I trust that new group implicitly. With other general contractors in the past, we'd have to say, well okay, I appreciate your bid, let's find out, now let me make a few calls and get somebody else in to do it. It's time consuming, and many times it's counterproductive, because you need to go ahead and get the job done. Time is of the essence in the restaurant business.

I trust them to price things properly, with a proper margin of profit for them, and given the fact that many of the jobs they do for us are at 2:00 in the morning when we're closed. Trust is the biggest thing that we have.

I can't recommend them enough. I'm extremely pleased with the relationship that we have with DENCO. It's pretty much a turnkey deal. When you call DENCO, it's done, and it's done as quickly as you would imagine.
